Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are used to remember your preferences, recognize returning visitors, and understand how a site is used. Norlytics also uses browser local storage for the same purposes. This policy explains which cookies we set, which third-party cookies may be set, and how you can control them.

How We Use Cookies and Consent

We use CookieYes as our consent management platform. Before any non-essential cookie is set, CookieYes shows a banner that lets you Accept or Reject each category. Strictly necessary cookies are always set because the site cannot function without them. Analytics and advertising cookies are only loaded after you explicitly accept the corresponding category. Your choice is remembered, and you can change it at any time by reopening the banner or clearing your browser data.

Managing Cookies

CookieYes lets you accept, reject, or change non-essential cookie categories at any time. Google Analytics is configured as a consent-controlled category and does not run until you accept it. Advertising is handled by a consent-gated ad manager: no third-party advertising tag, including the in-page display slots served by Google AdSense, is executed unless you accept the Advertising category.

You can also opt out of personalized advertising from Google at Google's Ads Settings, and from participating third-party vendors at www.aboutads.info. Alternatively, you can disable cookies entirely in your browser settings, although some features of the site may then work differently.

Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies specifically, which prevents advertising partners from tracking you across sites while still allowing the essential cookies this site needs. Because the site does not load any advertising script until you accept the Advertising category, rejecting that category has the same practical effect as blocking the corresponding third-party cookies.

Updates

We review this policy whenever we change the scripts, ad networks, or analytics tools used on the site. The "Last updated" date above changes with each material revision.
